International meeting on archaeological practices relating to light from a trans-disciplinary approach: putting together Architectural history, Art History and Digital Humanities.
The workshop addresses questions such as how light is currently taken into account and treated in different archaeological practices and as a part of archaeological knowledge work, how archaeological practices and knowledge work relating to light and lighting could be informed by how the issue is treated in adjacent fields such as architectural history, art history and digital humanities, and how a better understanding of archaeological practices related to light could inform the communication of archaeological knowledge, for instance, in the context of museum displays.
